Congressional Black Caucus Tribute To Michael Jackson

By Holly Wood

Although none of the Jackon's participated in the Tribute To Michael Jackson at the Congressional Black Caucus' 39th Annual Legislative Conference, the panel that paid tribute was impressive. They included Michael Jackson and Katherine Jackson family attorney L. Londell McMillan, Rev Jesse Jackson, Cornel West, Congresswoman Diane Watson, BET President Debra Lee, Roland Martin and Extra's Shaun Robinson.

The panel was moderated by Toure.

The panelist shared memories and impressions about Michael Jackson. Dr. Cornel West was probably the most inspired and he waxed religious when he said, "MJ wrestled with spiritual malnutrition."
